SEPTONITE MARBLES
This is also known as African Bloodstone. It's a combination of red jasper and a dull grayish translucent stone--probably some type of agate. It's not the most beautiful stone in the world (and our Septonite Chip Beads are by far the slowest selling chip beads we carry, which has to say something), but it has its merits.

PINK OPAL MARBLES
Very delicate palest pink color with a swirl of gray matrix.

BRAIN NETWORK JASPER MARBLES
Such a cool stone. This is a "network" of an orange-red colored matrix all over a pale background. It doesn't really look like a brain, yet when you see the stone you think, "Wow, that's a really accurate name!"

BLUEBERRY QUARTZ MARBLES
A cheerful favorite stone. Blueberry Quartz is actually colorless glass into which blue dye has been swirled during the liquid stage. Some people call it "Smelted Quartz," which makes it sound more genuine than it actually is.

APACHE JASPER MARBLES
This one is new to me. I don't even know offhand if "Apache Jasper" exists or if it was just the name my vendor gave to this particular stone! It's a sort of weird pink-brown color with some swirls and orbs. Very odd; you need to see it to understand it.

TURITELLA MARBLES
We already carry this on in the larger 25mm size, and now here is the 20mm version. FABULOUS stone, with visible crinoid fossils visible throughout.

BROWN ZEBRA JASPER MARBLES
We already carry this in the smaller 18mm size; now we have added them to our 20mm collection. Vibrant brown stripes, just like a zebra, if zebras were brown.

CARNELIAN CHIP BOTTLES
We recently got a new shipment of our larger Gem Chip Bottles, and I was delighted to discover a new stone among them. These Carnelian chips are a nice strong red-orange.

EMPTY GLASS VIAL PENDANTS
These are really nice if you prefer to make your own gem chip pendants, or if you have something special to put in a tiny bottle to wear around your neck. These are quite small--just over an inch tall--and they come with a plastic stopper (if you want to fill the bottle with liquid) and a silver-tone glue-on cap with a loop. These would make great little meaningful gifts when you fill them with something that is very special to the recipient.

CHINESE CALLIGRAPHY SETS
This is a complete Chinese Calligraphy set, with brushes, ink, inkstone, brush holder, water trays, and even a chop to etch yourself for a personalized signature! All contained in a nice fabric-covered wedge-shaped box. Really cool and unique item.

SILK BROCADE PURSES
From the Far East, a lovely silk item. These are hard-sided purses with chain straps. Very small, so you won't want to take them to the mall or anything, but they will do for elegant occasions where you just need a place to put your keys, make-up, and credit cards. They also make really nice gifts for kids too. And not just girls--my sons each have one of their own! (But then, my sons are sort of girly.)

SOAPSTONE MOTHER AND CHILD CARVINGS
I LOVE these! I even have a white one in my china cabinet now, and anyone who has been reading this newsletter for any length of time knows that if Suzanne likes it as a display, it must be worthwhile! Beautiful abstract statue of a mother embracing a child. Choose from three different soapstone colors.

SOAPSTONE BUDDHA CARVING
We don't often carry religious items, but these were so nice I had to get them. Little one-inch Buddha carvings with flat backs. Highly detailed and quite beautiful.

SPHERE AND EGG STANDS
We just noticed that many of these were showing as "out of stock," which is totally not true, and our old pictures (which were takien from some free pictures site) were small and ugly. Now we have updated photos, new sizes and shapes, and have even added a couple of funky dyed marble stands! Check them all out on the "Stands" page.

RUBY KYANITE MARBLES
A dull gray-blue, vaguely shimmery stone with barely-there hints of pink ruby. Rare and exotic, but not necessarily beautiful.

RUBY FUCHSITE MARBLES
A really rare stone, very cool, bright colors. I'm not a fan of pink and green together, but they look good on this one!

LARVIKITE MARBLES
I enjoy this stone. It's typically used in building siding, but it makes a nice gem too. It's a dark gray color with little flecks of blue fire flash. It's very much like Labradorite, only with flecks of fire rather than streaks.

GREEN OBSIDIAN MARBLES
Oh, such a pretty stone. Clear strong green, bright and fake-looking (but it actually occurs that way naturally!). A must for collectors, and I was able to get them at a decent price, too.

BLUE CRACKLE QUARTZ MARBLES
This is quartz that has been heated and then rapidly cooled, so that it cracks. Then dye in injected into it. This is a nice pale aqua color.

PINK CRACKLE QUARTZ MARBLES
Same as above, only pink. For some reason my scan shows it as purple, but they are not purple at all. They are a medium fuchsia color.

BRONZITE MARBLES
A nice shimmering bronze-colored stone. Very heavy, and cool to look at in sunlight.

BLUE OCEAN JASPER MARBLES
I bought these as "Ocean Jasper," but the real Ocean Jasper tends to exhibit swirls and orbs. This is just a plain blue jasper. The color is very pretty, but it's not orb-y.

BLACK OBSIDIAN MARBLES
A basic black but with a little sheen to it. When I obtained these, they were photographed in such a way that made them look like they had a LOT of gold sheen, but this just isn't the case in natural light. Maybe you can get them to glow by looking at them in just the right way, but they look mainly black.

QUARTZ WITH CHLORITE SPHERES
Nice spheres, about 30mm. They have a greenish fuzzy look to them.

PICTURE ON RAINBOW CALSILICA SPHERE LISTING
Our poor Rainbow Calisilica listing finally has a picture. If you're going to be shelling out $90 for a sphere, it helps to be able to actually SEE it first.

SHARK'S TEETH
Kids love these! Choose from Really Small, Kinda Small, and Rather Impressive. I remember, when I was 10 years old, I sent away for a shark's tooth. It cost 65¢, and I kept it for decades! We are selling ours much cheaper, so buy one for each kid you know! See them at the top of the "Miscellaneous" page.

GEMSTONE SKULLS
We now have a great collection of tiny crystal skulls! Each is about an inch tall, and you can choose from over a dozen different stone types. I love these, and have been wanting to get them for ages. See them at the top of the page on our "Gemstone Carvings" page.

AMBER WITH INSECTS
We just got a huge bag of Amber nuggets containing insects. We've listed the first 20 specimens; another 20 will be coming shortly. We also have "bargain" fossil Amber for those who would like a buggy Amber nugget but who don't want to pay the big bucks for a really spectacular specimen. For five dollars you can get a sample with a bug or two, from our C-quality pile.

CHATOYANT MALACHITE MARBLES
We got a shipment of high quality 20mm Malachite marbles in recently, and I found these gems among them. Very rarely, Malachite will show chatoyance, which is the characteristic cat's eye shimmer that is found in Tiger Eye and a few other stones. This is a MUST for collectors! Each one has fabulous black and dark green stripes, with the shimmer found in the lighter stripes. I've never seen anything quite like these before; they are absolutely gorgeous. Only 13 available!

OPALITE MINI EGGS
A new addition to our small eggs collection, these are shimmering white with a deep inner glow. We already carry the larger sized Opalite eggs, though those have a frosted finish. These new eggs have a perfectly shiny finish; smooth and shimmering.

NEW LARGER EGGS
We have a great new selection of stone eggs in the 2" size. Stones include Moss Marble, Orange Calcite, Amazonite, Fossil Limestone, Kalahari Jasper, Banded Jasper, White Marble, Yellow Calcite, and Zebra Marble. They are just $3 each, and we have limited quantities. Find them on the Eggs page.

HIMALAYAN SALT CLEANSING BAR
Hold this in the running water in your shower and let the clean salty water pour over you. A great natural cleaner and deodorant.

HIMALAYAN SALT SPHERES
About 30mm wide, this can be used in the bath or shower, or as a display.

HIMALAYAN SALT EGGS
Use this in the shower as an exfoliant and general cleanser, or display it with the rest of your eggs!

CHERRY QUARTZ SPHERES
I tried to order Cherry Quartz marbles, but the vendor sent me these instead, and had no marbles available. I'm not too fond of them; they are more "cherry" than "quartz," and the cost was much higher than I am comfortable with. If you enjoy Cherry Quartz, these are really nice.

MULTICOLOR CALCITE CRYSTALS
Very pretty pastel shades of blue, green, yellow, and peach. These specimens have the natural cubic crystalline shape of calcite.

HUGE GARNET SPHERE
OMGOSH! Did you ever see anything so huge? Forty-five millimeters of pure Garnet. I couldn't get really great pictures, unfortunately, but it's actually really nice. You can see the Garnet color, and there are some deep crystals and a very faint 4-sided star when viewed in natural sunlight. Only one available, so if you are a collector you will want to get this NOW!

CHINESE REFLEX BALLS
We've had these in the past. They are two balls, each with a chime inside (one high and one low), which, when rolled in the palm, apparently stimulate acupressure points that provide a calming influence. They were great sellers and we ran out and couldn't find any more at a decent price, until now. These differ from our old ones in that the balls are cloisonné instead of chrome. And I have to admit the boxes aren't as pretty as the old ones--the colors aren't as bright. Still, it's a lovely item for yourself or a gift. Choose your box color AND your ball design.

YELLOW CRAZY LACE AGATE MARBLES
All the crazy swirls and bubbles that you love with Crazy Lace, but in yellow and white instead of pinks.

OWYHEE JASPER MARBLES
Fun mix of grays, browns, reds, and tans.

COBALT BLUE OBSIDIAN MARBLES
We've already got the lighter Blue Obsidian, and now here's a much deeper shade. These are natural glass and look it. Nary a blemish in any of them. The color is not to be believed. Definitely a must for collectors.

GREEN CINNABAR CHIP BEADS
This one cracks me up. It's not Cinnabar. Real Cinnabar is toxic and will kill you if you wear it. Also, Cinnabar is red, not green. But Cinnabar beads are actually made of resin, and so are these. Thus, these are Green Cinnabar. Hey, I don't name 'em! These are thin, triangular chips that look really cheap and stupid. I think these were made when someone had nothing better to do. I can't imagine their appeal at all. (That's your cue to buy some as a curiosity!)

ROUGH MALACHITE CHIP BEADS
Basic Malachite chip beads that apparently haven't been polished very well.

ALUNITE CHIP BEADS
These are more small nuggets than chips--very even and bulky. Interesting warm light shades of gold and peach.

YELLOW AVENTURINE CHIP BEADS
Basic stuff. I have been looking for this stone in chip beads for YEARS. I don't know why it took so long to find it. Aventurine is pretty common and inexpensive; I guess it just didn't occur to folks to make it into chips. Anyway, it's a nice medium yellow color, plain and pretty.

ROSE CITRINE CHIP BEADS
You've seen Ametrine, now here's Rose Citrine, a mix of Rose Quartz and Citrine! These are a pretty uniformly shade of peachy pink, though sometimes you get a little variegation.

SUGILITE HOWLITE CHIP BEADS
I've seen this dyed Howlite in other forms (we currently sell tiny purple Howlite eggs), and have finally found it in chip beads. Just like most other dyed Howlites, it is meant to mimic another stone--this time, Sugilite. Doesn't look a thing like Sugilite, in my opinion. Looks like purple dyed Howlite.

GOLDSTONE MARBLES BACK IN STOCK
We've had a few Goldstone marbles off and on through the years. Now we've got a HUGE supply, so they won't run out any time soon!

OPALITE MARBLES
This is a fabulous shimmering milky white. Opalite is a man-made stone created to replicate Opal or Moonstone. It's everything Opal or Moonstone should be, only way better.

WHITE OPALITE MARBLES
Sometimes Opalite is sort of transparent; other times it's very opaque. Here are the opaque ones. I initially thought I'd like the clearer ones best, but the White Opalite marbles have a much deeper inner light, so I am torn.

MORE CAT'S EYE CHIP BEADS
We've had a couple of basic Fiber Optic Cat's Eye chips for a long time. Now we've consolidated them all into one listing and added a half a dozen new colors. And we've reduced the price by fifty cents!

PINK CHALK TURQUOISE CHIP BEADS
The things they do with that Chalk Turquoise! Take some pure Turquoise powder, mix it with a stabilizer, and add color. Sounds good, when they stick to the basic greens and blues of real Turquoise. Now someone has had the brilliant idea of adding a weird pink color to the powder, for a Pepto-Bismol hue that I don't think actually exists in nature. Freak-ay!

SARDONYX CHIP BEADS
I LOVE this stone! I've been trying to get this in chip form for YEARS. This is a pure black and white agate, with strongly defined stripes. If I wore jewelry (I don't), this stone would have a frequent spot of honor around my neck.

MELANITE CHIP BEADS
This is the black form of Garnet. It's a fairly solid black color, with just a little bit of translucent red-brown here and there. These beads are rough and large, cut following the stone's natural crystalline structure, so they look faceted. Not the prettiest of stones, but the intrigue of black Garnet makes it worth it.

BLUE RUBY ZOISITE CHIP BEADS
BLUE Ruby Zoisite? There is some sort of impurity in this stone that makes the Zoisite part of it a pleasant gray-blue instead of green-black. In fact, this might not even be Zoisite at all; it might be Fuschite. Whatever it is, we only have a few bags, and no way to get any more, so if you are going to get any, you might want to hurry.

FLUORITE WITH MATRIX CHIP BEADS
This is yer basic Rainbow Fluorite, all the usual soft purples, blues, and greens, but with this weird matrix all over them. It's rough and orange. I have no idea what it is. It might be paint or cement for all I know. I like to believe it's natural, but it's extremely strange.

MORGANITE CHIP BEADS
This is the pink version of Beryl (the mineral which includes Aquamarine and Emerald). These are the palest clear pink, with a little hint of the long crystalline structure, and an odd inner shine that can't be explained by cut or inclusions. I like these!

SERAPHINITE CHIP BEADS
A pretty dark gray-green stone with lots of little shimmers in them. At first glance they seem sort of dull, but when you get up close you can see the cat's eye effects.

ROUGH AMBER WITH INSECTS
We recently got in a new shipment of rough Amber bits, and in rummaging through them we found some awesome specimens with insects. A couple of them are really spectacular. The only problem is that we don't know the exact species of the bugs (our other specimens were identified for us already). And these new nuggets aren't tumbled like the other ones, but they have a clear flat "window" through which you can view the bugs.

ZEBRA JASPER MARBLES
As with Pyrite, we already carry a smaller version of this. If you're like me and like all your stones to be 20mm, here you go!

CHRYSANTHEMUM STONE MARBLES
This is a fun stone! Pure black with stark white flowery patterns on them. I like this stone for my personal home decor--it's very brushwork-like.

KAMBABA JASPER MARBLES
These are a pleasant green-black combo. Lots of fun swirls and blobs in these.

BLUE OBSIDIAN MARBLES
GORGEOUS! The loveliest, most delicate, crystal clear blue stone. Obsidian is a form of natural glass, and blue Obsidian is pretty hard to find. These are just perfect. They look fake, but they aren't.

ANGELITE MARBLES
A light, pretty opaque powder blue. It looks a little like Blue Aventurine, but without the mica inclusions. Not a common stone by any means.

PYRITE MARBLES
We have these already in a much smaller size. Now you can have them in a 20mm size. These aren't as golden as our little marbles; these are a darker dull metallic black.
