Beautiful striped Agate is dyed in a brilliant pink color, then sliced very thin and polished to a glassy shine. The coloring shows the vivid stripes. Some are transparent; some are "druzy" (they have a small hollow crystalline center); some show strong, solid stripes. Each one is beautifully individual.
