This Full Package is your best aid to finding your family. I am a professional genealogist who has done research for my own family for five years. I am willing to do comprehensive research into American lineages for a cost of $30 per hour.
HERE'S HOW OUR AGREEMENT WORKS: Step 1: I send you a packet with the necessary information to get me started on my research. This package includes forms for you to fill out, and a prepaid envelope for you to send it back to me. Step 2: I start my research with the information you provided. The first two hours of research are FREE. This is to help me ascertain that I in fact will be able to help you with your family tree. Step 3: If, after two hours, I determine that I cannot continue with the research, your entire cost will be refunded. Step 4: If I decide I can continue, I will keep researching for 20 total hours. Depending on the individual case, we can expect one hour of interpretation for every two hours of research. Step 5: I will stay in touch with you regularly to give updates on new finds and leads. Step 6: The first step in research is initially establishing your family tree. After this (time permitting), the next step is to find out more about the individuals; their "stories." Step 7: After the 20 hours have been completed, I will contact you to discuss further research options. Step 8: If at any point you decide you would like to stop research, you can let me know and I will cease immediately, refund for any remaining hours, and send you your final package.
FINAL PACKAGE INCLUDES:
1. A printed Family Tree.
2. Family Group Sheets for each head of household (these include information about all family members, and sources for information).
3. Printed images of all documentation discovered during research (census records, immigration records, tax records, vital records, photos, etc.)
4. A CD with your complete GEDCOM (family tree) file. (You may use this file to create your own family tree on your computer.)
5. A summary of research.
6. A binder to hold all the information.
