The Amethyst Dilemma
Really nice Amethyst chip beads are hard to find. We were lucky enough to get in a hank of perfectly purple stones a while back, and after they got sold out, it was really hard to replace them. We are constantly looking for new wholesalers to provide us with high-quality Amethyst chips, but it is very difficut! In most cases, we go through the strands carefully, pulling the best stones and piling the rest into the "Grade C" pile.
