This is a complete Calligraphy set for anyone who wishes to learn to write Chinese characters, or who simply enjoys having interesting things from around the world. The cloth-covered wedge-shaped box measures approximately 6" by 9". Its contents includes one inkstone, one ink stick, four brushes in various sizes, one brush holder, two water trays, and one ready-to-carve chop. Wet the inkstone, grind the ink stick into it until you get the desired consistency, and you'll be ready to write (or to paint a lovely Zen-like ink painting, if you prefer). Paper not included in this set; please use rice paper for writing, watercolor paper for painting, or copy paper for general use. |
