Ewan Strikes Again
23 Nov 2003

My little 3-year-old keeps life interesting. Some of you may remember his little trick of scattering the expensive and rare Tanzanite beads all over the office floor. Then came his escapade with removing all of my Opal (again, expensive and rare) beads off the strand, to scatter about him. Now he's into my postage! He brought me a little toy that he wanted to put into one of my padded mailers, so I did, and sealed it for him (I'm so nice). The kids have a big box of stickers that they use for stamps when pretending to mail something, and I gave this box to Ewan. He apparently is a stickler for realism though, because next time I saw him, he was busy applying and removing real postage stamps to his package! He used about fifteen 20-cent stamps, some of which tore, but most of which (hopefully) can be glued on future packages. (So if you get a package with a 20-cent stamp on it, think fondly of this story!) I am a least thankful he didn't use the $1.00 stamps, or (gasp!) the Priority Mail stamps!
