Incense and Accessories - NEW PAGE!
We have added a new page to the Ephemerala online catalog.  If you are the Aromatherapy type, you will love our new Fragrances page.  Here, we've placed our old standbys Solid Perfumes, Scented Candles, and Sandalwood products, and we've added a whole bunch of new incense!  You can choose from factory-made fragrances at 10 cents a stick, or for a penny more, you can buy hand-made incense that is ten times stronger in scent.  Please feel free to order any of the "Coming Soon" items, as those are in stock and just waiting to be photographed.  You can take a chance on those, or just wait a couple of days to see the pictures.  We also just got those FABULOUS little rosewood boxes with amber resin, which has been a long-time covet item of mine.  See all the smelly stuff here:

Worry Stones
My 5-year-old loves his.  He takes it seriously--carries it to bed to keep him from getting worried about the dark!  These are small stone slabs with indentations that are perfect for rubbing your thumb.  Put one in your pocket and rub it when you get stressed out.  Several stones to choose from.

Rock Pebble Candy
FUN!  Irregularly shaped jelly beans that look just like polished specimens of Turquoise, Mahogany Obsidian, Dalmatian Jasper, Snowflake Obsidian, and more.  Six different flavors.

Stone Fun Facts
Wild Horse Jasper
This is, surprisingly, our second-most expensive stone (Diamond being the most expensive), and I was curious as to why a simple Jasper would cost so much.  There is precious little written about this stone, but here is what I found.
(Please see general information on Jasper HERE.)
** Wild Horse is the name given to a type of Jasper that exhibits the spotted patterns of a pinto pony.
** There is another stone called Wild Horse Picture Jasper (note that "picture" in there), which is a type of Owyhee Jasper from Oregon and Idaho.  The stone we are talking about today, however, is found ONLY in one mine in Arizona.  Its rarity is what makes it so expensive, as there is only one source for it in the world
** Wild Horse is a rather new stone, discovered in the 90s near that Globe copper mine in the Gila wilderness area in southern Arizona.
** It is sometimes called Wild Horse Turquoise, though it is not Turquoise.

News & Stuff
New Page!
As mentioned in our New Items section, we have a new catalog page devoted entirely to fragrances and scented items.  Quite a few customers have expressed an interest in basic aromatherapy items, so this page came to be.  Check out the current products, and we'll soon have a bunch of fragrance oils for sale as well.
