New Items
New Chip Beads
Now that I have covered pretty much all of the most common stones in chips, I am getting to the really obscure, rare ones.  As a result, most of the new items are seriously expensive.  I try to skim as little profit off of these as possible (meaning that you won't ever see these on sale!), but even so, they are not cheap.  Still, you may like to get some for the novelty of it!

Larimar
Several customers have been asking for this stone.  It's very rare, and comes from Brazil (I think).  A really nice light blue color.  Sold in packets of ten chips for that "sample without spending too much" feeling.

Wild Horse
A stone found exclusively in Oregon, this is another recent customer request.  It's very interesting, sort of like Ocean Jasper with a very brown angle, but I don't know why it's so expensive.  (This is the most expensive stone we carry.)  Again, packets of ten beads so you can try them out without a huge monetary commitment.

Citron Chrysoprase
We already have Lemon Chrysoprase; now we have Citron ("Lime") Chrysoprase.  Exactly like Lemon only green.  Very small, round, chalky-textured beads.  Sold in packets of ten.

Blue Agate (Nugget)
These are big, chunky round nuggets.  EXTREMELY pretty glassy light blue.

Fancy Glass
Eight types to choose from--bi-or tri-colored glass chips.  Some have specks on them.  Quite fun; use them in whimsical jewelry.

News and Stuff
On eBay Feedback
I leave feedback for all eBay transactions.  Eventually.  I tend to leave feedback in groups once or twice a month, and often get far behind on this task.
Feedback on eBay is voluntary, not mandatory.  I do it as a courtesy for the people who will be dealing with my trading partners in the future.  As much as I like to pretend this is a big, important operation, the truth is I run this little business out of a dungeon in my home, and I have a life outside of eBay, which means the minutes I have available to do business stuff have to be prioritized.  Most important are listing products, sending invoices, and packing and shipping packages.  Lower on the priority list is Feedback.  So I only get to it every few weeks.
Recently, I had a buyer who wrote that she was very happy with the items and wanted to buy more, but didn't want to until I left feedback for her.  I cannot leave feedback at the drop of a hat as each individual asks for it, so instead I sent her a quick massage letting her know that I always leave feedback, but that it might take a while, and I gave her the URL to my Feedback Policy Page
A few weeks later, she wrote back, saying she was "bitterly upset" that I had not left feedback for her yet.  She said she had never left a negative before, but would do so for me if I didn't leave feedback.
Of course, I don't take too kindly to being threatened, so first I reported her for feedback extortion, then blocked her from bidding on future auctions, then wrote to her explaining basically what I just said in the first two paragraphs above, adding that I found it hard to believe that someone would place SO much importance on their own feedback that they would consider leaving a negative if someone is late in getting around to it.
My point in this story?  Well, it was partly a little interesting tidbit for your reading pleasure, but I also want to assure everyone who has recently dealt with me on eBay that I DO leave feedback for all transactions, and I believe very strongly in leaving factual feedback.  I feel that feedback is for the benefit of the people who will be dealing with you in the future, not for you.  A person's feedback rating helps their future trading partners know what to expect.  If you threaten me with negative feedback, I can assure you that you will NOT get a positive comment from me.  But if you, like the majority of people I have dealt with, accept the delay with patience and agreeability, your feedback will eventually come!

Penny Sale
Every two weeks, I hide a new special offer somewhere on my online site.  This listing will offer a certain product for ONE CENT, with any purchase of $10.00 or more.  The item and its location will change every two weeks, so be sure to look often.  Simply go to my online store site:
and browse until you find the hidden listing.  Add it to your cart, along with the rest of your $10+ order, and it will be included for just a penny.  Happy Hunting!
(Recent keen-eyed customers got a POLISHED STONE PENDANT for a penny.  What will you be able to get this week?)

Insider's Special
Jerry's Choice
My husband's birthday falls within this fortnight, so he got to choose the sale.  He asked me if I had any chips that had blue lightning flashes.  He wanted the blue flashes to look "Ominous, like something Darth Sidious would have flying from his fingers."  I don't know if we really have anything QUITE like that, but I felt that the blue fire of Moonstone and Labradorite would suffice!  This week, you may buy any number of bags of 50 chip beads in Rainbow Moonstone, Labradorite, and Blue Labradorite (much more blue flash than regular Labradorite) for just 75 cents per bag.  There is no limit.
Jerry's Lightning Flash Offer is good through March 27, 2005.
