Riverstone
** Riverstone is a jasper-related stone that typically comes in a variety
of pastel colors, including pink, beige, blue, and tan. (Our Riverstone
chip beads are beige.)
** Since this is a newly-discovered stone, very little information is
available on it. Crystal healers haven't yet examined the full range of
possible healing properties. However, even at this early stage, Riverstone
is thought to be helpful in alleviating anxiety. It is a good stone when
change is necessary; it promotes speedy changes and helps the wearer move
swiftly through change. It is also thought helpful in reducing
boredom.
** Physically, Riverstone is thought to speed up metabolism, which can be
helpful to those trying to lose some weight. It helps to regenerate the
body and promote physical energy.

Bigger, Prettier Peridots!
When I bought my first Peridot chips years and years ago, I bought several
hanks (10-strand groups) at once, at a good price. When I got them, I was
disappointed, because the chips were so incredibly tiny. I am always
up-front in my listings about the size of the stones (and my eBay auctions even
bear the word "Petite" in the title), but I still have often worried that some
people might be dissatisfied with the small size. Well, the last of those
hundreds of bags is soon coming to an end, and I just bought some more Peridot
chip beads. And WOW! These are awesome! They are much bigger
than before, a little bit more transparent (thought still with a lot of
inclusions), and have a brighter color. So if you've avoided Peridot chips
in the past, you don't have to worry about size any more. Check them
out!
